Hi Jenna, I’m writing this letter to you to get something off my chest that I’ve wanted to say for some time. Since I first met you, I’ve been captivated by you: you’re funny, bright, interesting, gorgeous, cheerful, fun to talk to, and so much more. Almost every time I see you, you’ve surprised me with something new—whether your appreciation of classical music, or your drive to succeed in everything you do, or any number of other things you’ve told me over the past couple months. The more I get to know you, the more attracted I find myself to you. But I haven’t let you know this, haven’t acted on it, haven’t done anything at all, and this bothers me. I had to let you know this before you left for the summer, and I thought it was better to write this down than to stumble over my words in front of you, a nervous wreck. I’d really like to know how you feel, and I want to keep in touch with you over the summer—to hear how your course goes, what you end up naming your puppy, and whatever other adventures you get into over the summer. — Jason
